The future finally has arrived and it could be an amazing revolution that will change our lives and the entire planet. After decades or research and testing, many car manufactures are now able to build pretty sophisticated and fully solar powered cars that can perform like regular cars, look like them, but do not pollute and do not need thousands of dollars to refuel. Due to political and cost effective reasons, such cars are very slowly entering the market, making them more of lab products than actual vehicles for mass productions. The purchasing cost is still very high and in many areas regulations are still slowing the marketability of these automobiles.

That being said, with the fast increasing of oil price and the huge demand for alternative ways of transportation and car power, solar powered cars are becoming more and more attractive, representing a very interesting alternative. In the years to come, we’ll see what the future is reserving for us, but in the mean time the best thing to do is to read and research to try to fully understanding what is happening and what to expect, This is the only way to make an educated purchase when the time will come to dump fuel powered cars.

We’ve all struggled and been on pins and needles to find an unusual present for a special person. Someone called me the other day and talked about how he is going
to need to make some money soon and wanted to start up a web
site. I explained that the two concepts did not necessarily go
together. My advice? Well, for what it’s worth, I would say
forget everything you ever knew about brick and mortar
businesses and start all over again.

A solid business plan for a web business is really going to
elude you until you get in there and get your feet wet first. It
ain’t that easy. There are a lot more people selling get rich
quick packages than there are people getting rich. You must surf
and read, surf and read, surf and read. After a few months
figure out who does have some real business credibility and
follow that person and the links he or she connects to. Do
something you know how to do and dissect it until you can find a
niche. Starting a web business without the basic knowledge of
whatever business you pick is fool hardy at best. Don’t pay for
information you can get for free. Those first months of surfing
should give you some pretty good leads. Don’t go it alone. Find
a friend, mentor or relative to bounce ideas off of. Be open to
honest feedback. You know who will give you honest opinions and
who will not. I love my relatives but we will never be in
business together.

Study the business you want to get into and how it works on the
web. Research the concept, develop a rough plan and refine as
you continue to research. Plan, plan, plan. Don’t touch your
retirement savings.

Take a look at a real business plan, (you can find them free on
the web) and start sketching in your ideas. Revise it at least
ten times. Be realistic about money. It’s expensive to market
anything on the web, -you’ll need to learn to find additional
ways to get the word out. Spend much of your free time in
bookstores or libraries perusing books on marketing, sales, web
design, budgeting, time management and personal success stories.
I think book stores tend to have more of the most current stuff
as far as web marketing is concerned.

Build an alternate plan for your business plan. Make a
contingency plan. Make a goal sheet with target dates. What do
you (your name) need to learn more about in order to operate on
the web in addition to your craft? Web design? Marketing? Search
Engines? Self promotion? Again, follow the leaders - err on the
conservative side and stay objective. Can you sell? Selling your
goods, selling yourself, and selling your credibility is more
important for the success of any web business than you can
imagine right now.

You might want to make an appointment with a person at SCORE at
the Small Business Administration. They have all been through
the fire, can give you realistic feedback, show you how to
develop a business plan and where to look for financing.

Don’t give up your dream. But don’t give up your day job yet
either.

Like our farm, Highland Hill Farm, Dublin Pa. is located in an
eara with lots of clay. We therefore like plants that grow well
in clay. Arborvitae, in particular the Green Giant is our
favorite. Here is why. The hardiness zone for the Green Giant
Arborvitae is from zones 5 to 8. Its evergreen with rapid growth
rates that in ideal conditions can be up to 3 feet per year.
Site requirements for the green giant is sun to partial shade,
moist well drained soil but does well in clay, and needs
protection from wind . Its texture is fine with its form conical
being narrow to broadly pyramidal, reaching from 50 to 80′ in
height to 15 to 20 feet in width. The leaf is rich green
graceful foliage. It keeps its foliage color in the winter. The
Green Giants flowers/fruit are .5″ erect female cones. The Green
Giant has strong wood, casts dense shade, and has cinnamon red
bark when young. Arborvitae do not tolerate salt spray. These
arborvitae should outlive even your children.

I’m tired of hearing everyone from the President on down telling
me to invest in the stock market.

If you want to help build America, invest in your business. This
country was built by small business men and women.

I don’t invest in the stock market because it’s out of my
control. I don’t determine how the company is run or where their
profits are placed.

On top of all that, the returns are really peanuts compared to
what you can earn from a well run business. When the market
dropped they said investors shouldn’t worry they should have
their money back in 5 years.

Guess what?

If I invest in a good program, I usually make back my investment
plus within 5 minutes. Can the stock market do that?

I’ve invested in programs for $10 or $20 and made back 10 times
that within 24 hours. I couldn’t even cover the brokerage fees
for the cost of starting a business online.

Take control of your future. Take responsibility for your
success. You are the future.

Learn how to market on the internet and you’ll never worry
whether the economy is up or down. You’re the boss. Your ability
will determine your future.

Why are so many people more willing to invest in the markets and
not in themselves?

They don’t believe in themselves. They think big business will
make the money for them.

I’m going to tell you something that I hope you take to heart. I
know you can succeed. I know you can outperform the stock market.

I believe in you. Probably more than you believe in your - self.

Don’t invest in the stock market. Invest in YOU INC.

In the words of Ben Franklin “Keep Thy Shop and Thy Shop will
