Sometimes I eschew drama, because I didn’t always have Great Expectations for my dating life. Here’s the scoup, yesterday I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. As a coping mechanism of loneliness, for once. Yeah, I did it. What does this mean? Honestly, that’s when I honestly considered getting out to date with Great Expectations.
No problem. Figured I’d boost my dating life thru a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. Probably isn’t a bad idea. Prolly wouldn’t be an issue, but it is. I was at little Brent’s Easter egg hunt near North Dallas two weeks ago, my sister had to know if I’ve found my one and only. They sure have nerve. My response was, “what’s your deal, yo?”
No surprise that The Old Tooter (aka: grandpa) mindlessly kept jabbing me along the lines of my companionship situation. I said to the family gang: “I’ll be fine, do you even know me?”
Can you believe this? They smiled politely. Shortly after, I emailed my astrologist just to get some perspective. That didn’t help! It was more useful listening to my dad, which is never the case. Billy, who recently moved to Italy recommended that I join Great Expectations. I said, “Yeah, maybe I should.” See, everything always works out. I am truly grateful for the Great Expectations Denver singles events.
At the time, dating services were new because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. I’d never done anything like this before, and I was speechless at first. This faux pas could not stop us from enjoying ourselves. That night I enjoyed was a happy hour not to forget. The one cool thing that really struck me were the other members, some who are my new friends.
There’s something great about going to these glorious Great Expectations Dallas singles events, I rubbed elbows with quite a few winners who I could tell share a parallel understanding when it comes to dating. Now I can stop letting everyone get me down about being single. Surprisingly enough, dating with Great Expectations is a good time and care-free social experience.
