I Think Elliot Spitzer might be the Devil?

03/01/2009
on: Web Of Humor

You what I like about America? Well, I am allowed to have an opinion and it is wonderful to consider this and even better to speak my mind. So, I will. I really think that Elliot Spitzer might be the Devil. In fact I would bet on it, he even kind of looks like what I think a Devil is suppose to look like. So, has Satan returned to earth? Is Elliot Spitzer the big bad red devil himself? Should Satan worshipers all over the world be hailing one Elliot Spitzer?

You know there is a Satanic Church or two in New York, so I ask you will they take Elliot Spitzer as their savior and worship him? Will they walk prescints when he runs for New York Governor? It will be interesting to see exactly who is on his campaign won’t it, especially when the New York Governor’s elections comes around and Elliot Spitzer throws his hat, I mean three headed spear into the ring? But beware, the devil does not fight fair.

If Elliot Spitzer gets into office and if he really is the devil, which is my opinion then what can the fine citizens of New York expect once he takes over Gotham City? Will he more resemble the Joker, Riddler or some other dastardly cartoon character or is he really already there and the Governorship will only make it official? Consider all this in 2006.

How To Make Money On eBay

03/01/2009
on: Bids

Today, many people are choosing to work at home and make money selling on eBay. As you’re reading right now thousands are making a full or part time income with online auctions. Why? Well, because the concept is simple, you can make money from home and you can have a lot of fun doing it. Of these people who choose to start an online auction business and make money from home, many will use dropshippers to get their business up and running. Then once they have products that are selling really well, they will look to locate these products at a better price. But where? Where does one find products at a better price? The answer is right here is this article.

You see, once you are comfortable with what you are doing, have run several regular auctions and have products that are popular and selling really well, it’s then time to do some research on getting these products at a better price. This will allow you to offer these products to your customers at a better price and thus increase your auction sales which in turn will increase your auction profits. O.K. I can hear you asking “But Joe, where do I get these products for a better price?”

The answer is Liquidators! As explained in my book, a Liquidation Company is a company that buys surplus, over runs, bankruptcies, going out of business inventory and the like. They purchase this merchandise for pennies on the dollar, and can afford to sell this merchandise at below wholesale prices and still make a profit. Therefore they sell for less and you reap the benefits.

There are many Liquidators who could have just what you’re looking for. There are General Merchandise Liquidators who basically purchase and sell all sorts of general merchandise. At any given time you can find anything from housewares to kids toys. Collectables to clothing. Jewelry to cosmetics. All for a fraction of the price of dropshippers.

Then, there are Liquidators who specialize and only purchase and sell merchandise in a specific niche. This niche could be electronics, jewelry, brand name clothing and so on. Whatever the niche is, this will be the only type of inventory that Liquidator will carry. For example, a Liquidator who specializes in only kids toys would purchase products from toy stores or department stores with a kids toy section that are going out of business, declaring bankruptcy or have overstock. From that inventory, you can find some of the latest and most popular products on the market.

Liquidators are similar to Wholesalers and Dropshippers in that you will have to become a member to have access to their inventory. Most require no fee to become a member, while others may charge a nominal fee. The one thing that does differ is that Liquidators have a set number of units you must purchase in order to get a great price. A Liquidator will purchase their inventory in bulk enabling them to get the merchandise for pennies on the dollar. Therefore, they will want to sell the merchandise in cases or lots.

If you have done your due diligence, have ran several regular auctions and you know you have a Hot Product, then Liquidators are your answer to more auction profits. Remember that selling products is all about research. What products are Hot? How much can you sell the product for, and where can you get the product at the best price.

Magical Yahoo Readings

03/01/2009
on: Web Of Humor

I should of stayed with Quick!

I went back to Salem, the Witch city, where I previously lived for twelve years. But after one immature 40 year old, an eight hour walk, a year in a two bedroom apartment alone, Mr. Jeckyl and Mr Hyde Landlord, a friend of ten years accusing me of rape, an accident from three years ago suing, my paintings vandalized, a half pack of cigarettes, and partridge in a pear tree I got out of Dodge and headed back to Jersey in December. I have been back since, but this time I came back to play psychic in the Halloween capital of the world.

Every couple of years, I play a Carny of sorts in town. One year I worked in a Disney land of Ghouls filled with animatronics. Got onto the Discovery channel working there. Worked doing ghost stories. Then another year I worked on a ghost tour and found out that Giles Corey, you know the guy when he was pressed to death under accusations of being a witch just asked for more weight, was seen a few years back. Well his ghost at least. The rumor goes that he appears in the Howard Street Grave Yard near the countries second oldest jail, next to the one filmed in the Shawshank redemption, on Bridge Street. The one they killed him in and he cursed all the county Sheriffs by blood ailments. The last one who served at the jail, did survive his heart attack though. Well Mr Corey is suppose to be seen on the eve of any great disaster in Salem. He was even seen before the Great Salem Fire of 1914. Well the last time he was seen was on the eve of a young woman took her life down at the Willows. This was the same night I had spent with my x-fiancee in another graveyard across town with sour patches, dipsticks, and fairy wands. Only if I was in that graveyard he could of warned me about that great tragedy in my own life. For she did turn out to be one. Now that is another story, for another time!

But this October I was to work in a Psychic fair. No I am good at, real good. But up to that point I though it was a gift you returned as a gift. But I changed my mind. So I was to work for a guy who though I was a real flesh in blood werewolf. He also wanted to pick me up, but soon was he to find out I was all for the yahoo.

I showed up two days late for the fair and was singled out on my first day. Yep, the yahoo found me. It was not hard to choose me. The rest in the room were either gay or other women. Being psychic and all, I had seen a flash of her naked and I knew I would be sleeping with her that night. Which made me only shake my head. But later on I am glad she was a bit more trimmed… Than in the vision.

But it all started out in that traveling road show from bar to bar. After work we all went out like some theatrical troop visiting the local taverns. The rest of them alone were motley enough, but we put the cherry on top. Actually I found out that the only cherry that was under the table was the one that spilt out from her drink. She needed serious work on her poker face. No French courtesan was she at all.

The show must go, and so it did unto the next bar! At the beer works we picked up a lesbian couple into our audience. And they were glad they paid the price of admission. One of them got redder than that cherry earlier mentioned. The other just egged us on. I just felt sorry for the waitress whose nape of her bosom that went from red to five alarm chili red by the end of the night. The yahoo was yodeling alright! The rest was to catch up later.

The funny thing about witches is, they are all goddess this and oh goddess that! Until you get them on their back and it is all oh Gods from there on in.

Now here favorite comment followed by her own unique Fran Dresser laugh was ” If it ain’t pleasing me, to please you! It ain’t happening!” Throughout our month long affair she went from being divorced, to separated, to forcing her husband to live in the basement for five years like some troll. That Christmas I was sent a shirt from Norway by an Aunt I only met once whose mother was a Shaman of sorts that read “Love your neighbor, but keep your hands off his wife!” Strange gift from a woman I only met once who was 9,000 miles away at the time.

So one day a client came into the fair and asked about what kind of Psychic readings do we offer. Curious about tarot, runes, psychometry, past lives and the like. She was told that my adulteress partner was very good at doing magical Yahoo readings! The client was told that the psychic looked into the dark foreboding abyss of the yahoo and divined her future. Well that cherry color came back again. On second thoughts, I think I should of stared down into that Yahoo and asked for a Nestle Quick instead.

Use The Global Reach Of eBay To Save Money

02/01/2009
on: Bids

Maybe like you, when I need to purchase items I always do a search online first. Normally using two of my favourite websites, eBay and Google to search for a suitable item and get some idea of the appropriate cost.

However, I’ve been making a mistake. An absolutely huge mistake. It will have cost me money over the years. Today, in a phone call with a friend I’ve only just realised it. It’s like someone slapped me across the face.

I thought I was saving myself time & effort, but it seems like I’ve been actually throwing money away, wasting time and putting in more effort than was necessary.

It’s not like I’m new to the internet, or even eBay or Google. I’ve written hundreds of articles on eBay, published three eBooks & complied an eBay mini course. Friends and family call me regularly and ask for assistance online, especially when dealing with eBay - even those who work within the computer trade & already market online.

I was only looking for relevant products. Trying to remove all the crap that is presented to you that is not relevant to me.

Anyway today, I’ve had a few problems with my car. It’s actually in a few pieces at the moment as she’s (yes, it’s a she) having a new clutch fitted. However, while she’s been taken apart it’s also been discovered the turbo is leaking oil.

This morning I had a phone call from a friend. I’ve just been to see Graham, said Tom on the other end. Grahams the mechanic that normally works on my car. Your cars in quite a few pieces at the moment, hopefully he’ll get the part delivered on Monday (for the clutch) but your turbos leaking oil as well.

I’m not a mechanically minded person. Maybe the turbo unit can be repaired or rebuilt, maybe it needs to be replaced completely.

However, to get an idea of the cost if it needs to be replaced I searched on eBay. After all, you can buy anything on eBay can’t you? I found a few used ones on eBay priced at £300. However, as I read down the description, most of them had exactly the same problem as mine - “This unit has been removed as it leaked oil and the seals are split.”

And if they didn’t specifically state faults within the description, as they had all been used they’re was no guarantee the same faults wouldn’t occur within this unit. I could end up replacing it again, a few months down the line.

I’ve looked on eBay, I told Tom. I could only see a few used units.

Then Tom said something I would have never have thought of doing. Not in a million years, even though it’s such an obvious thing to do. It’s probably one of the biggest advantages arising from the birth of the internet.

“Have a look at those from America”, said Tom.

Well. I would have never of thought of searching on eBay.com instead of eBay.co.uk. After all, even it was cheaper the shipping costs would not push the price up and wipe out any savings I made. Or so I thought.

“I’ve bought loads of stuff from the states for my VW” he boosted, stuff that’s not available in the UK went on Tom. So, I searched on eBay.com.

I found a brand new shining turbo unit on eBay, with no bids starting at $395. The shipping was a massive $125 to the UK, however this converted to a total of just £290.

All these years, I’d been clicking on the option to restrict searches to UK only. Trying to avoid the irrelevant ads.

But, by looking at the international options that were always in front of my eyes I had not only found a brand new unit but also for less than the price of a used one in the UK.

And hopefully, you’ll do the same if you haven’t already been doing the same. Use the advantages of the internet today, to start saving money, time and effort.

Betting Room Games of Luck: Learning about Card Playing

02/01/2009
on: Betting Online, Recreation Hub, Virtual Gambling

If you gaming establishment betting, then do please read on. A valid description of a betting room is an edifice that organizes games. Here, paying customers will hopefully game by challenging the slot-machines or trying out a slew of other games. Betting saloon games most often include ovious odds governing them that insure the house keeps possession of a over the gaming devotees.

Very many casino games can get you habituated very rapidly. Take, for example, the vintage slot-machine, a coin operated instrument with three plus cogs which circumvolve when an arm affixed to it is moved. This instrument mostly compensates based on a range of glyphs displayed on the front panel of the machine. Regrettably, gambling house pastimes encourage the fantasy of staying in control, thus conning the gambling enthusiast - the punter is ceded options, but in reality these can not really nix the player’s long-term disadvantage. That is precipitated by the gaming establishment never refunding the full amount as hoped for. This systematic pattern is continuously seen at work in famous casino games like five-card stud poker, dice, roulette or blackjack.

Seven-card stud is indisputably an incredibly trendy casino pastime. The gaming aficionados, playing with partially covered cards, make bets in a central pot that is then bestowed onto the last player bearing the highest set of cards. (Obviously, the bluffer may win) Comparable to five-card stud, blackjack is likewise a highly trendy casino game. A substantial amount of its popularity is owed to its particular mix of chance and knowledge & decision making, not to mention a trick termed “counting”. The aforementioned is a highly complex technique by which gambling buffs can bend the odds of the game in their interest both by betting and strategic opetations in correlation to the hands dealt.

“Craps” is another acclaimed game where punters place bets on the roll of dice. Guests are betting on the score of one spin, or on a string of rolls on two dice. Quite unlike blackjack, there just isn’t any possible winning strategy players could make use of to improve the odds. Roulette is a prominent casino game. A croupier whirls a roulette wheel which contains exactly 37 (classical roulette) or precisely thirtyeight (American roulette) uniquely marked cells in which the white pellet will then settle, thereby announcing the winning number Assuming that our punter bets on any given number and is successful i.e. he’s actually having a lucky day, the guaranteed payout will be 35:1, the pledge will be paid back. Accordingly in total the original pledge is multiplied by a factor of thirty-six.

Do your best to stay very much attentive as well because such betting establishment games may well be categorically addiction forming. An alarming number of lives are known to have been destroyed in the course of inordinate gambling and despite the fact that it arguably might be entertaining, please do endeavour to balance your play.

Sopranos Wagering Can Add To The Excitement Of The New Season

01/01/2009
on: Uncategorized

After a break of nearly two years, fans of the Sopranos don’t need much incentive to tune in when the program resumes Sunday but there is another reason to watch this season and it might even add a little more juice to the viewing experience. Sopranos wagering is getting very popular and is offered at some of the best online sportsbooks.

Both Bodog and Pinnacle Sportsbook are among the Web sites that are taking action on the hit series - with the first moneymaking opportunity involving correctly identifying who will be the first character to be killed-off during the final 20 episodes of the series.

“We are already seeing a lot of betting action on these entertainment props,” said Greg Jorssen, spokesman for Bodog. “This is the first time we have offered odds on the Sopranos, and we anticipate even more betting action leading up to the show’s season debut.”

The HBO hit chronicles the lives and actions of fictional mob boss Tony Soprano, his immediate family and extended crime family, and his efforts to sort out all of their dysfunction and his resulting anxiety through shrink Dr. Jennifer Melfi. HBO will air 12 episodes that are scheduled for this calendar year and the final eight episodes of the series will air in January.

Pinnacle Sportsbook is offering odds on who among 18 regular characters will be the first to be killed off this season, with the early moneymaking Uncle Junior the favorite at 11-2 and Tony’s nephew Christopher the second choice at 6-1.

The odds on Tony’s sister Janice being the first to go opened at 29-1 but were quickly bet down to 11-1. The longest shots on the board at the moment are Tony and his immediate family, wife Carmela, son A.J. and daughter Meadow, each at 70-1 or 75-1. Dr. Melfi also appears safe at 70-1, as does Silvio at 52-1.

“In the past our bettors have correctly predicted the outcome of television shows like American Idol as well as world events including the Papal conclave and Presidential elections,” said Simon Noble of Pinnacle Sportsbook. “If the betting trend continues it could mean the end of the line for Uncle Junior or Christopher, who both have several risk factors making them vulnerable to being killed off.”

Bodog, which has a $50 limit on Sopranos wagers, is offering odds on who will be killed-off first for 10 regular characters, though the odds are significantly lower than those offered at Pinnacle Sportsbook. Here Paulie Walnuts is a 9-5 favorite, followed by Uncle Junior at 5-2. Tony is a surprisingly low 9-1 considering there would not be much of a show without him, and Carmela has the longest odds at 16-1.

Establishing wagering lines for entertainment props is far from an exact science, which is one of the reasons that Bodog has set a $50 limit for individual Sopranos wagering. “There are many unknowns,” commented Jorssen. “It’s not like a typical sports game, where the bookmakers can compare lines, research past betting trends and size up the teams.

“Another reason for the lower minimums is that there is greater potential for leaked or inside information. In the case of the Sopranos there could be some insiders at HBO who already know the outcome of the show, so we have to be extra vigilant when it comes to monitoring the lines. To mitigate some of the potential risks, we keep the minimums low,” Jorssen added.

Bodog is also giving bettors an opportunity to predict how the series will end. Tony’s family walking out on him is the 1-2 choice here followed by Tony getting arrested at 8-5. Tony retiring from mob life is the longest wagering opportunity here at 11-1.

If you think there will be a feature film version of the Sopranos before January 2008, you can lay $110 to win $100. If not, you need to lay $130 for $100.

Jorssen said the props are part of Bodog’s continuing effort to provide customers with unique wagering opportunities, which has the added effect of attracting new customers.

“Entertainment wagers are designed as an added-value offering for Bodog players,” he added. “They are fun and entertaining, and most of all they are unique. Once a customer feels comfortable placing a couple of dollars on the outcome of say, the Sopranos series, they will find it much easier to transition into other betting channels, such as the online sportsbook.”

Mount Blanc Increases in Height from 2002 According to Experts

01/01/2009
on: Travel Hall

Brand new precise GPS measurements carried out on the 14-15th October have shown that Monte Bianco amounts to 4810.7 metres. Monte Bianco is covered by a thick ice-cap which has increased by 2 meters in exactly two yrs moreover more unexpectedly the volume of the ice and snow has just about doubled up . Least ways that’s as reported by the professionals.

The amount of ice was measured for the initial time during 2000. It measured 14700 metres cubed above 4760 meters. It comprised just 13500 metres cubed in 2001 potentially owing to the high temperatures with +ve temperatures even at 4850 metres elevation. Nonetheless the ice-cap has nearly doubled up since then and now equals 22000 cubic meters.

Chamonix town’s respected local weather man Damon Kim stated the increase in the size of the ice cap is among the perverse outcomes of climate change: The amount of snow has not augmented generally in the Alpes only with the climate change we are seeing a lot of hot prevailing westerly air currents that bring in rain at lower altitudes however during summer this means dense snowfall that falls higher up than 4000 metres elevation hence the volume of the ice-cap is increasing. Counterpoint that to the situation in winter time when the snow crystals are exceedingly cold and are transported by wind and so do not rest on the summit.

Chamonix is not just famous for Mount Blanc it is also a world renowned snowboarding field and climbing mecca with lot’s of ski deals and catered chalets to be found. Moreover at merely 1 hour from Geneva airport it is perfect for a short break.

When and How to Cancel an eBay Auction Early

01/01/2009
on: Bids

If you’re strongly considering ending an auction early, remember that cancelling auctions upsets buyers and upsets eBay! So before you do anything, read this article. There might be a better to way to get what you want.

Reason 1: “I Want to Change my Listing.”

If you just want to revise your listing, you don’t always need to end it. For listings that have more than 12 hours left to run and haven’t received any bids, you can revise almost everything. You can remove the Buy it Now price or reserve price, change the duration of the listing, or add listing upgrades.

If the listing already has one or more bids, you can still add upgrades or add to the description. You can add more pictures too. Once the listing gets into its last 12 hours, however, what you can do becomes far more limited even if it has no bids. You can only revise the description at this point.

It’s not a good idea to cancel one listing and ask bidders to bid on another listing for the same item instead. Chances are they’ll be annoyed with you and won’t bother.

Reason 2: “The Item is No Longer for Sale.”

Perhaps you sold the item to someone else, you lost it or it got broken. Whatever happened, if you no longer have the item to sell, you should remove your listing at once. In fact, this is just about the only situation when eBay allows you to. However, if you leave it to the last 12 hours, eBay will refuse to let you remove it, no matter what has happened. This might seem cruel, but keeps people from backing out in the last few hours because they want to try again for a better price.

If you still want to end your listing early, be very careful. The option you almost certainly want to choose is “Cancel bids and end listing early” rather then “Sell item to high bidder and end listing early.”. You’ll be asked to choose a reason why you ended the listing and then your bidders will be emailed to let them know what happened.

Note that ending a listing early because it looked like it wasn’t going to get a good price is against the rules and a very upset eBay could come after you for this.
